Press Release Good Times Magazine
Thursday July 19, 2006:
LOCAL PRODUCTION COMPANY SIGNS DISTRIBUTION DEAL
Port Jefferson NY.
Newly formed GIG Productions, today signed their first distribution deal with Bulldog Evans Record label and publishing with Black Rose
Productions. This is very significant to the long Island music scene says G.I.G. president and founder Allen Cuffey. The music business has changed from
the days when it was difficult if not impossible to get local talent recorded and distributed. Now with marketing on the internet and the growth of indie
labels like Bulldog Evans, Long island is emerging on the national music scene and GIG will be out in front leading the charge.
GIG which is an acronym for God is Good, produces Gospel and Christian music from it's Patchogue recording studio and production facility. The company
is also home to Cuffsongs Music Publishing which has affiliations in Nashville and N.Carolina. We are anticipating a renaissance in Gospel
music in the next year here on Long Island, which I believe has a wealth of talent that deserves to be heard says Mr. Cuffey. Our goal here at GIG
Productions is to find and develop future talent for national distribution while preserving the integrity in music and song writing that major record
companies have abandoned to increase profits. Black Rose Productions under the direction of Tito Batista has been a long time supporter of Long island
local Talent. With it's international publishing affiliations, The merger of Black Rose, Bulldog Evans And GIG is a guaranteed hit.
Our website www.gospelhome.net will be fully operational in early September. Any interested artists or song writers can contact us
